BACKGROUND

This action will authorize a liquidation of the Bid Bond for construction of Kidd Springs Park Japanese Garden renovations by C. Green Scaping, LP and will result in revenue in an amount of $46,629.40 which is 5 percent of the total contract (total amount of $932,588.00).

It has been determined to liquidate the Bid Bond from the construction services contract with C. Green Scaping, LP, due to lack of workforce for the construction of the project.

On May 5, 2021 and May 12, 2021, the City of Dallas advertised for bids for Kidd Springs Park Japanese Garden renovations. In response to the advertisement, the Office of Procurement Services received bids from three responsive firms on June 18, 2021.

The scope of work includes the construction of an accessible walkway through the Japanese Garden between the recreation center and creative playground.
