BACKGROUND

 

This item authorizes the abandonment of a portion of Ninth Street to Bishop Arts Village LLC, Bishop Arts Phase 1A LLC, Bishop North LLC, and Bishop Arts Holdings LLC the abutting owners, containing approximately 30,000 square feet of land. The area will be included with the property of the abutting owners for a drainage, water and public access easement. The owners will dedicate no less than approximately 13,100 square feet of land needed for a water, drainage and private drive easement. The abandonment fee is based on an independent appraisal.

 

Notices were sent to 30 property owners located within 300 feet of the proposed abandonment area. There were no responses received in opposition to this request.
