BACKGROUND

 

This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a master agreement is to establish firm pricing for goods, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.

 

This increase to the master agreement will continue to provide for the purchase of vehicle, truck, motorcycle, and heavy equipment original equipment manufacturer parts for approximately 8,200 City service vehicles, public safety vehicles, tractors, and heavy equipment.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On September 28, 2016,City Council authorized a master agreement for the purchase of original equipment parts to maintain city vehicles and equipment is authorized with Westway Ford Holt Texas, LTD, Southwest International Trucks, Inc., Mockingbird Automotive, LLC dba Love Field Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Rush Truck Centers of Texas, LP dba Rush Truck Center, Dallas Light & Medium Duty, Landmark Equipment, Autonation Chevrolet Galleria, IEH Auto Parts dba Auto Plus Auto Parts, Town East Ford II LP, Texas Kenworth Co dba MHC Kenworth Dallas, Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc., Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc., RDO Equipment Co., Quality Fire Truck Parts, LLC, Stewart and Stevenson Power Products, LLC, CLS Sewer Equipment Co., Inc., Associated Supply Company, Inc. dba ASCO Equipment, Custom Truck One Source, L.P. dba CTOS, LLC, Park Cities Limited Partnership dba Planet Ford Dallas Love Field, Industrial Disposal Supply, Metro Golf Cars, and Dickson Equipment Co., Inc., for a term of three years by Resolution No. 16-1555.
