BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Lydia Gaines filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile-pedestrian collision on January 30, 2018, involving a Park & Recreation Department vehicle. The City and Ms. Gaines have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Thompson Law, LLP.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on August 5, 2022.
