BACKGROUND
This item authorizes an amendment to Ordinance No. 32037, previously approved on October 27, 2021, which abandoned portions of an alley, located near the intersection of Malcolm X Boulevard and Taylor Street to SL4 Deep Ellum, LP, Meghani Partnership, Inc., Radical Computing, lnc., TRW Realty Holdings, LLC and Travertine, LLC. This amendment will extend the timeline requirement from twelve months to eighteen months to allow for approval of engineering plans and Private Development Contracts (P-Contracts) or a covenant agreement.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On October 27, 2021, City Council authorized the abandonment of portions of an alley to SL4 Deep Ellum, LP, Meghani Partnership, Inc., Radical Computing, lnc., TRW Realty Holdings, LLC and Travertine, LLC, the abutting owners, containing a total of approximately 11,181 square feet of land by Resolution No 21-1743; Ordinance 32037.
