BACKGROUND

 

Claimant Dallas HU1 LLC filed a commercial property damage claim against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged elevator water damage occurring on March 27, 2022, when Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel were conducting hose deployment training at a private parking garage at 7920 Belt Line Road in Dallas, Texas.  The City and claimant have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on October 21, 2022.
