BACKGROUND

 

The easement is to accommodate a concrete pathway from the south end of the American Airlines Headquarters campus at Trinity Boulevard to the southern boundary of the Airport, along a tributary that parallels State Highway 360. The pathway will connect the American Airlines Headquarters to the Centreport TRE station and the River Legacy Trail.

 

The easement is being requested by the Texas Department of Transportation, the City of Fort Worth, and American Airlines. The easement has no potential for commercial development and will have no cost to DFW to construct or maintain.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On May 12, 2022, the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board was briefed and approved this item.
