BACKGROUND

The Military Parkway Bridge over White Rock Creek Tribunal is a partnership project between the City of Dallas and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to replace the existing bridge. This bridge was included in TxDOT’s currently approved off-state system federal-aid Highway Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program as authorized by Texas Transportation Commission Minute Order No. 116073, dated August 31, 2021.

This action will authorize an Advance Funding Agreement with TxDOT. The estimated total project cost is $881,010.00 for the preliminary engineering, construction engineering, and construction costs. The local government participation amount requirement for federally eligible items of work is waived in full. The City of Dallas will commit to spending City Funds for any non-eligible items of work.
