Authorize a professional services contract with Dunaway Associates, LLC to update and consolidate various master plans, studies, design standards and guidelines, and previous park improvement plans for the White Rock Lake Master Plan Update at White Rock Lake Park located at 8300 Garland Road - Not to exceed $256,205.00 - Financing: Operating Carryover Fund ($147,300.00) and Park and Recreation Facilities (2006 General Obligation Bond Fund) ($108,905.00)

BACKGROUND
This action will authorize a professional services contract with Dunaway Associates, LLC dba Dunaway Associates to update and consolidate various master plans, studies, design standards and guidelines and previous park improvement plans for the White Rock Land Master Plan Update.
Tasks to be performed include data gathering, base mapping, community input and stakeholder meetings, conceptual plan development, preliminary master plan and design standards, final master plan and graphics, design standards, and 3D graphics.
On July 15, 2020, the City of Dallas advertised the Request for Qualifications for engineering, architectural and landscape architecture consulting services for the 2020 Capital Improvements Projects. In response to this advertisement, the Office of Procurement Services received submittals from 24 interested architecture firms on August 21, 2020.
In November 2020, the Dallas Park & Recreation Department, Planning and Design Selection Committee evaluated and ranked the 24 firms based on their qualifications for various bond projects. Dunaway Associates was shortlisted in the Landscape Architect Firm category for project selection consideration based on their ranking.
