BACKGROUND

 

Plaintiff Glenell Hunter filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on March 4, 2020, involving a Dallas Police Department employee who was operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Mr. Hunter have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval.  Plaintiff is represented by Godsey Martin, P.C.

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter was provided to the City Council on April 7, 2023.
