BACKGROUND
This item authorizes the abandonment of a portion of a drainage and detention area easement to Uplift Education, the abutting owner, containing approximately 11,465 square feet of land. The area will be included with the property of the abutting owner to expand its school campus. The owner will dedicate approximately 20,474 square feet of land needed for a detention area easement. The cost for this abandonment is the minimum processing fee pursuant to the Dallas City Code, therefore, no appraisal is required.
