BACKGROUND

 

Plaintiff Allison Pinkard filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on July 22, 2021, involving a Dallas Police Department employee who was operating a city-owned police vehicle. The City and Ms. Pinkard have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Jessica Gonzalez of Gándara & González, PLLC.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on May 5, 2023.
