BACKGROUND
Plaintiffs Chanda Runnels and Roy Heidelberg filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on June 19, 2021, involving a Dallas Fire-Rescue Department employee who was operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Plaintiffs have reached proposed settlements, subject to City Council approval. Ms. Runnels and Mr. Heidelberg are represented by David Adest and Frenkel & Frenkel, LLP.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on January 5, 2024.
