Title
Authorize (1) the rejection of bids received for a construction services contract for a 57-acre municipal waste cell and environmental site improvements; and (2) the re-advertisement for new bids - Financing: No cost consideration to the City

BACKGROUND
This action will authorize the rejection of bids received for the development of a 57-acre municipal waste cell and environmental site improvements, due to technical issues with the bid. Three bids were received and opened on August 10, 2023, After the bid opening, it was discovered that the bid did not meet the advertisement requirement for competitive bidding.
The construction project is estimated to be re-advertised for new bids and anticipates bringing the contract to Council for consideration at the June 26, 2024, Council meeting.
