BACKGROUND

This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a service contract is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.

This Supplemental Agreement will provide for continued maintenance and support for the existing airport access control system (AACS), which includes closed circuit television subsystem, security intercom subsystem, video badging/credentialing subsystem (including physical identity and access management, and fingerprint processing components), AACS controlled doors and door hardware, and other components at the Dallas Airport Facilities. This contract also serves as the basis for implementing any future modifications to the existing AACS undertaken throughout the term of this agreement.

This contract will also provide for the maintenance and support of the exit lane system. This system is integrated into the Department of Aviation's (DOA) computer-based security access control system. It is used to detect and prevent unauthorized access from the public area into the sterile side of the airport.
