BACKGROUND
On November 3, 2023, four bids were received for the construction of the Coombs Creek Extension Trail Improvements Project. This action will authorize a construction services contract with Northstar Construction, LLC, lowest responsible bidder of four, for the construction of the Base Bid, in the amount of $567,750.00.
The scope of work for the Coombs Creek Extension Trail Improvements from Davis Street to Moss Park includes construction of the Coombs Creek Extension Trail consisting of 10-foot-wide concrete trail along Plymouth Road from Davis Street to Moss Park, including accessible ramps, pavement striping, pedestrian crossing improvements, drainage improvements, park trail head improvements and other associated improvements. Funding for this project was included in the 2017 Bond Program.
