BACKGROUND

Vescorp Construction, LLC dba Chavez Concrete Cutting is located in Balch Springs, Texas and is a registered vendor with the City of Dallas.

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) specifically applies to state and local governments and stipulates that no qualified individual with a disability shall, by such disability be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits of the services, programs or activities of a public entity, or be subject to discrimination by any public entity.

The Dallas Sidewalk Master Plan, completed in June 2021, is a targeted path forward that is aimed at improving pedestrian mobility. Through this work, a data driven methodology system was utilized to identify the most impactful projects to increase accessibility for pedestrians, improve safety for all City residents, and address sidewalk needs in historically underserved communities.
