BACKGROUND
Plaintiffs Hamilton Atmos LP and CitySquare Housing filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged breach of a development agreement by delaying the payment of accrued tax increment financing amounts when due, accrued interest, and attorneys’ fees. The parties have reached a proposed settlement of all remaining claims subject to City Council approval that includes payment from the City to Plaintiffs not to exceed $300,000.00. Plaintiffs are represented by Sheils Winnubst, PC.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on February 3, 2023.
