BACKGROUND
This action will authorize a construction services contract with SYB Construction Co., Inc. for storm drainage and erosion control improvement projects at nine locations. The proposed storm drainage and erosion control improvements will address localized flooding and severe creek bank erosion, protecting structures and property.
The construction contract includes storm drainage and flood management improvements at seven locations, including the 1600 and 3400 block of Monte Carlo Street, Cypress Branch at Jennie Lee Lane, Greenspan Avenue at Kirnwood Drive, the 9700 block of Forest Ridge Drive via a storm drainage relief system on Chiswell Road from Windy Hill Road to Audelia Road, 7012 Royal Lane via a new drainage system in Royal Lane from Lavendale Avenue to Hillcrest Road, Rexford Drive at Shorecrest Drive, and 3125 Homer Street from Merrimac Avenue to Monticello Avenue at North Central Expressway.
