BACKGROUND

This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a service contract is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.

This Supplemental Agreement will provide continuous helpdesk and desktop support services for City employees at all locations, to report technology incidents to resolution, to request technology services, and to receive full life-cycle management of computer and computer-related equipment. The outsourcing of these services affords the City with the ability to leverage support as needed to address changing technology needs. This renewal includes a minor rate increase and enhanced dedicated support for the Police Department, Municipal Court-Judiciary, Mayor and City Council, and the City Manager's Office.
