BACKGROUND

Since 1967, the City of Dallas has worked with the TCEQ and its predecessor agencies, to support clean air monitoring and enforcement of air quality regulations through a set of renewing contracts for services. There are currently three contracts under which TCEQ funds the City's Ambient Air Monitoring Group to monitor local air quality and also purchase and maintain equipment.
