BACKGROUND
On May 31, 2023 and June 7, 2023, the City of Dallas advertised for bids for Kiowa Parkway Trail and Bridge Project located at 15200 Woodbriar Drive. In response to the advertisement, the Office of Procurement Services received bids from three firms on June 23, 2023.
Joel Brown & Co. LLC dba J. B. & Co. LLC was selected as the lowest responsible bidder for the Base Bid in an amount not to exceed $399,500.00.
The scope of work for the Kiowa Parkway Trail and Bridge includes construction of a new prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge with concrete trail connections at both ends including standard retaining walls along with gabion walls, erosion control and drainage improvements for the trail connection at the park.
