BACKGROUND

 

This item, on behalf of the Dallas Police Department, authorizes an amendment to an existing lease agreement with Ricchi Towers, LLC, to exercise a one-time renewal option to extend the lease agreement for an additional five years for approximately 1,950 square feet of office space located at 8585 North Stemmons Freeway, Suite S-525. The five year extension will provide for the continued use for the Police Department's Psychological Services Unit for personnel purposes.

 

The five year extension will begin on November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2028.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On August 8, 2018, the City Council authorized a five year, two month Lease Agreement, with a one-time renewal option by Resolution No. 18-1036.
