BACKGROUND
This action will authorize an amendment to Resolution No. 21-0362 for an Interlocal Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation to modify the City's estimated share of the project costs from $463,300.00 to $791,600.00 for a phased Taxiway Echo design and construction project at Dallas Executive Airport as part of the capital improvement plan under the TxDOT's State Block Grant program. Portions of the Taxiway Echo project is not eligible for federal funding, therefore, the City's estimated costs will increase.
Deferral of this item would delay the completion of this project and potentially increase the City's risk of losing federal funding tied to the eligible portions of this project.

On February 24, 2021, the City Council authorized an Interlocal Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation to perform a phased Taxiway Echo design and construction project at Dallas Executive Airport as a part of the capital improvement plan under TxDOT's State Block Grant program, in the amount up to $4,633,000.00, by Resolution No. 21-0362.
