BACKGROUND
During FY 2019-20, the City Manager’s Office reviewed the name of the Office of Budget and determined the name did not accurately reflect the primary functions of the department.
Additionally, the Office of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence was created to use data to improve the lives of the people of Dallas and create a framework for an Open Data Information Repository.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
City Council was briefed on the City Manager’s Proposed Budget on August 11, 2020.
