BACKGROUND
The original scope of work for the construction services contract with HCBeck, Ltd consisted of the construction of a new extensive 5.6-acre park located at 2201 Pacific Avenue, in an amount not to exceed $15,221,273.04.
On November 23, 2020, Administrative Action No. 20-1633 authorized Change Order No. 1 to the construction services contract with HCBeck, Ltd. for the construction of Carpenter Park located at 2201 Pacific Avenue for additional scope of work to include the placement of spoils from Carpenter Park at Wheatland Park for future sports fields, in an amount not to exceed $45,073.00, from $15,221,273.04 to $15,266,346.04.
This action will authorize Change Order No. 2 to the construction services contract with HCBeck, Ltd. The additional scope of work includes the construction of a basketball court in lieu of a bocce ball court, in an amount not to exceed $144,029.00, increasing the contract amount from %15,266,346.04 to $15,410,375.04.
