BACKGROUND
This action will authorize an Other Transaction Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration during the Reconstruction of Runway 13R/31L Project at Dallas Love Field.
The agreement includes, supporting the Department of Aviation during Reconstruction of Runway 13R/31L, rehabilitation of Taxiway C, demolition of Taxiway G and H, and construction of Taxiway T. The Reconstruction of Runway 13R/31L Project includes the replacement of the existing pavement system, improvements to the existing drainage and storm water control system, replacement of airfield lighting, improvements to communications pathways and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting roadway system.

Complete Construction May 2022

On April 25, 2018, City Council authorized a professional services contract with HNTB Corporation for design, planning, engineering and construction document services for the Runway 13R/31L Reconstruction Project at Dallas Love Field by Resolution No. 18-0598.
