BACKGROUND

This action will authorize a professional services contract with Jones & Carter, Inc. for the engineering evaluation and design of storm drainage and erosion control improvements at 11 locations. Known flooding issues will be evaluated at 7 locations and recommendations along with construction plans and specifications will be developed for storm drainage improvements. These locations include 616 Calcutta Drive, Yewpon Avenue at Kingsley Drive, 3602 Loganwood Drive, 3808 Lively Lane, Preston Hollow Channel, Phase 1& 2, 3162 Royal Lane, and Teakwood Drive at Elmridge Drive. Erosion control improvements will be evaluated at the remaining locations, including 816 Glen Oaks Boulevard, 2447 Highland Road, 1739, 1745, 1751 Tamarack Drive, and 13156 Burning Log Lane.
