BACKGROUND
On May 6, 2020, the City of Dallas advertised for bids for the Forest Park Playground Replacement Project located at 2906 Parnell Street. In response to the advertisement, the Office of Procurement Services received bids from three firms on December 11, 2020.
This action will award a contract for construction of the playground replacement at Forest Park to Henneberger Construction, Inc. This playground is being constructed with Equity Revitalization Capital Funds. The scope of work includes demolition and replacement of the existing obsolete playground, new playground surfacing, new sub-drainage systems, and providing Americans with Disabilities Act/Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation access to the playground.
