BACKGROUND

Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. which is located in Northbrook, Illinois, has an office at 6363 North Highway 161, Suite 550, Irving, Texas 75038.

Authorize Supplemental Agreement No. 4 to the engineering contract with Wiss, Janney, Elstner, Associates, Inc. to 1) continue with the development of the Bridge Management Program in support of the Infrastructure Management Plan (IMP), provide design and construction services on minor bridge repair projects, and 2) provide inspection and monitoring on multiple bridges in an amount not to exceed $501,810.00 increasing the contract amount from $291,111.00 to $792,921.00.

The original professional services agreement with WJE began the development of a Bridge Management Program in support of the Infrastructure Management Plan and to provided design and construction services on minor bridge repair projects. This contract was also amended through Council Resolutions and Administrative actions to address design and construction phase services for three emergency bridge repairs identified through the TxDOT Bridge inspection program.
