BACKGROUND
On November 5, 2021, the City Manager received a memorandum signed by three Councilmembers to consider an application for a Ceremonial Street Name request "Topper" on Goldman Street between Dennison Street and Bickers Street.
On January 4, 2022, notices were sent to three property owners which abut the street notifying of the proposed hearing of the Ceremonial Street Name request before the City Council on January 26, 2022 in accordance with Section 51A-9.503(b) of the Dallas Development Code.
On January 4, 2022, notification signs were put up on Goldman Street between Dennison Street and Bickers Street notifying the community of the proposed Ceremonial Street Name in accordance with Section 51A-9.503(b) of the Dallas Development Code.
Senior Corporal Arnulfo Pargas had a long history of community service for more than 10 years, such as serving Lakewest Patrol as a Community Engagement Officer, First Unidos coordinator liaison of the Unidos program. He was assigned to Southwest Patrol Division, followed by Northwest Patrol, and eventually transferring over to Community Affairs.
