Body
BACKGROUND

This action will authorize Change Order No. 1, increasing the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system installation and services contract with TDIndustries by 25%. This contract was established for (1) COVID-19 related retrofits of building mechanical systems for 2020 using federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act funding; and (2) installation, services and related products in support of the Building Services Department's operation and management of over 480 facilities comprising over 10 million square feet.

This contract provides for updating mechanical systems at City facilities with high-efficiency equipment, retrofitting systems to improve air quality and reduce the transmission of air-born bacteria, viruses and fungi, system repairs and related products and services.
