BACKGROUND

In April 2022, the Department of Equipment and Fleet Management applied for funding under the Electric Vehicle Charging Station Call for Projects from the North Central Texas Council of Governments. This $376,334.00 grant award represents funding for four Direct Current Fast Chargers at Central Service Center and Southeast Service Center to be used by the City's Fleet and the general public. The award funds approximately 100 percent of the cost of to install electric vehicle charging equipment.
