BACKGROUND

On August 11, 2021, the City Council authorized a professional services contract with Metropolitan Infrastructure, PLLC, for conceptual design and surveying services of Lakewood Park design of a steel pedestrian bridge across White Rock Creek Branch with concrete trail and sidewalk connections, near the 7143 block of Williamson Road, in an amount not to exceed $78,575.00, by Resolution No. 21-1266.

This action will authorize Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the professional services contract with Metropolitan Infrastructure, PLLC to provide for the design of a full Hydrologic Engineering Center - River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) Study, hydraulic modeling and hydrologic drainage report of the project site's White Rock Creek Branch and Williamson Branch Tributaries necessary to comply with Dallas Water Utilities floodplain management engineering criteria and permitting requirements.
